Make Change (money)

How many cents in a penny? (One!)
Nickel? (Five!)
Dime? (Ten!)
Quarter? (Twenty-five!)
Half dollar? (Fifty!)
Isn't that nifty?
Make change!
Yeah, we're going to make some change.

Our family had a yard sale.
We sold all kinds of stuff-
Toys we had outgrown,
And toys we didn't use enough.

I sold a little puzzle
To Mrs. Johnson's daughter.
The price was seventeen cents,
But she handed me a quarter.
Make change!
You've got to make some change.

Count on from seventeen:
Penny, penny, penny
Makes eighteen, nineteen, twenty;
Add a nickel for five cents more,
And that makes change from twenty-five.

Gordy saw a hockey stick
Leaning on the fence.
The stick only cost a quarter,
But Gordy gave me fifty cents.
Make change!
Ooh, ooh, ooh! Come on, you all!

Count on from twenty-five:
Nickel, nickel, nickel,
That's thirty, thirty-five, forty,
Add a dime, that's ten cents more-
Change from fifty cents for Gordy.

Tiffany wanted an action figure
With sixty-three cents on the sticker.
She handed me a dollar bill,
And I made change even quicker!
Make change!
Uh! Come on!

Count on from sixty-three:
Penny, penny, makes sixty-five,
Add a nickel more, that's seventy;
Dime, dime, dime, that's a dollar.
Stand up and holler-
I can make change!

How many cents in a penny? (One!)
Nickel? (Five!)
Dime? (Ten!)
Quarter? (Twenty-five!)
Half dollar? (Fifty!)
Isn't that nifty?
You can make change!

(Thanks for coming to our yard sale.
Have fun with your toy!)
